Terms of Service

1. The service

PropertyTend, operated by [LEGAL ENTITY], is a place to post property projects, list homes, find and offer services, and keep track of the work. It is an alpha: accounts are created only from an invitation, features change often, and some things described in our plans are not built yet. By using it you agree to these terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

2. Your account

Your invitation is for you; do not share your account or your invitation link. Keep your password to yourself and tell us at [CONTACT EMAIL] if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what is done from it, including by a team you add people to. The names and photos you give your roles must be honestly yours or your business's.

3. What the platform is and is not

• PropertyTend facilitates and records. It puts people in touch, carries their enquiries, offers and messages, and keeps a record of what was agreed.
• It is not a party to any agreement between users. A job, a tenancy or a sale is between the people who make it; an accepted offer on PropertyTend is a record of that agreement, not a contract with us.
• It holds no money. Payment for work, rent or a deposit passes between users outside the platform; we do not collect, hold or guarantee it.
• It gives no legal, financial or professional advice, does not vet or license the people on it, and does not act as anyone's agent. Check a provider, a listing or a counterparty yourself before you rely on them.

4. Your content and conduct

You keep ownership of what you post. You give us permission to store it, show it to the people the service is meant to show it to — the public, for what you publish — and process it to run the service. Do not post what you have no right to post.

You agree not to:

• list a property or offer a service that is unlawful, that you have no right to offer, or that does not exist;
• harass, threaten, deceive or discriminate against anyone;
• send spam, or use contact details you obtain here for anything but the conversation they came from;
• scrape, crawl or bulk-download the service, or try to reach data that is not yours;
• probe, overload or interfere with the service, or get around its limits or paid features.

5. Other people's content

Listings, services, profiles, offers and reviews are written by the people who post them. We do not check them and are not responsible for them. If something is wrong or harmful, tell us at [CONTACT EMAIL].

6. Payments

Some features are part of a paid plan. Where billing is on, you subscribe through Stripe Checkout, and you change or cancel the plan, and update how you pay, through Stripe's Customer Portal, linked from your profile. Your card details go to Stripe and never reach PropertyTend. A subscription renews until you cancel it. Plans and prices may change during the alpha.

7. Availability and data loss

The service is provided as is, without any warranty. As an alpha it may be unavailable, behave unexpectedly, or lose data — keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other people or the service at risk, and we may end the alpha. You may stop using PropertyTend at any time; to have your account closed, email [CONTACT EMAIL] — there is no self-serve way to close it yet.

9. Changes

These terms will change as the service does. When they change we will update the effective date above. If you keep using the service after a change, the new terms apply.
